Good Boob News!

I have my prosthesis, and I think my back likes having the weight back. It has its own box where it is to rest when I am not wearing it, but I'm supposed to wear it when I'm awake and up. So I have it on now, leaning but not lying in bed, and it feels pretty comfortable.

The second bit of news is that my genetic testing came back negative. I do not carry either of the defective genes they know and can check for. That means no need for prophylactic surgery, and though my daughter will need to start mammograms early, her risk is not as great as it could have been. My sister and mother need to keep up their screenings, but they already know that and do so. Whew.

Congrads on the new boob!
I make so bold with the comment since I have one, too, tho mine's a compact model :-)

I waited a while to go the prothesis route, then finally realized that the boob-imbalance was probably CAUSING my back problems - yup - many cleared up or at least eased once I got the little booblet.

Anyway, Alia, may you wear it in good health!

Thanks, Renna! I got to see one of the compact models to see the material on my first visit. The one they handed me was smaller than my 13 year old daughter! We are blessed with ample frontal acreage. It definitely takes all sizes to make up a world.

My back has been quite stiff, and I'm hopeful that the new boob will ease that a lot. Thanks for keeping up with me.
